When running capability is in question, Hilless performs as good as or better than internal combustion engine (ICE) bikes. Leo’s E-Bikes overcome all chronic problems that other electric bikes usually face; inability to challenge highly sloped hills and driving on hills for long periods of time, loss of power after exerting peak power, degradation of battery performance after only few months, failing to finish promised driving range, and are just too expensive for purchase. As the name describes itself, Hilless has enough power to run any hilly roads in the world until its battery is depleted.

Hilless’ 16th generation Lithium Polymer Battery controlled by the multi channel Battery Management System (BMS) guarantees more than three thousand charging cycles. Leo’s Battery Management System (“BMS”) balances cells to less than 0.01 volts for Hilless 3, which to our knowledge surpasses the results of any other electric scooter models available.

The controller Hilless uses is managed by an innovative drive mode program that covers all driving situation and power consumption. The multi layer or PMSM motors Hilless uses do not lose power after exerting peak power.

From three official test institutes of Korean government (Hill running test from the agency of defense development, drive range test from the Korean Institute of Energy Research, Cell balancing capability test of BMS from Korean Electronics Technologies Institute), Leo has received official government test results on Hilless 3. The test certificates show that the Hilless 3 drove 125 km (78 miles) at a speed of 35 kph (22 mph) on single charge, including 30 % slopes at 30.4 kph (19 mph). The maximum speed of Hilless 3 was 91.1 kph (57 mph) using the 1.47kW motor.
