One day, PHEV merged as the immediate solution before the ¡°pure EV era.¡± However, the biggest problem while making PHEV is that there are no suitable generators for PHEV. Leo invented the new generator for PHEV using common rail diesel engine and BLDC generating motor. Replacing the common, heavy diesel engine, AC generator motor, and common controller, Leo¡¯s generator for PHEV produces at least 30% more electricity per gallon and reduces the weight up to 60%.
With its small size as advantage, Leo¡¯s PHEV generator can be easily applied to cars and its reduced weight saves gas money.
The 15kW BLDC motor generator developed by Leo charges the 60kW power train. This system is currently being tested in a 1 ton carrying capacity truck, which are the most common types of trucks used around the world. After rigorous tests and receiving official test certificates, we will market them to auto makers throughout the world.
